Stay Focused if You Really Want Resilience [Resilient Part 6]

With so many distractions out there, how can we develop what John Eldridge calls “single-heartedness” in our lives?  He argues it’s this single-heartedness that allows us to have the strength to make difficult choices that will ultimately bring us into alignment with our Savior, Jesus. Think about it for a minute: how can we hope to stay focused and thrive in this life…if we don’t stay focused on the only one worthy of our focus.  Jesus isn’t just a good guy or a sage leader.  He’s the creator of the universe and savior of the world.  Here’s basically what he said in Luke 17:32, “Don’t look back! You can’t have any divided loyalties if you’re going to make it!” What he really said is, “don’t forget Lot’s wife.”  Now, why would he say that?  Listen to find out!
