Money & Peace [Part 1]

SUMMARY

Let’s start this series off with a basic principle to bring peace. If you can think this way about money, it will change how you approach money (and…stuff).

Here it is: It’s not ours, we’re just taking care of it. Wow, don’t you totally feel at peace with money now? Ok, maybe not, but if you can let that little truth sink in and guide the way you look at your money, it really will change your life. It allows us to see ourselves as managers, not owners. If you’re managing something for someone, you want to take care of it and be a good steward of it. This puts ownership with God and that means His wisdom guides decisions and brings peace. It also means we trust Him for more of it when we need it and that we keep an eye on needs versus wants.
